Chocolate Dipped Strawberries


Ok, I blatantly admit it, I did not temper the chocolate.  But for the home cook this is fine, and these strawberries are thoroughly luscious and incredibly easy. 

How To:
Melt your chocolate over hot water (another admission, I have never owned a double boiler, I just put one pot on top of another), once fully melted grab your ripe strawberry by the stem and dip and twist. FINISHED!  Isn't it great that something so delicious and so beautiful could be so easy.  Too bad more of life is not like that!  Bring the kids into the kitchen, they will love making these too. 

Lay them on a baking sheet lined with parchment and then put them in the fridge. The cool air will harden the chocolate and voila! You're the hit of the party!
